What does the waitlist email say exactly? I haven’t heard back from Penn yet :/

I agree with the programs taking their time this year, it feels slower compared to the timeline last year…

So the other community programs I’ve heard from are Georgia based: Wellstar and Northeast Georgia.
 
Do programs just ghost you like in residency? I can’t imagine it would take much to shoot a rejection email to <150 applicants…

Any recommendations on an ideal time on sending letters of interest to programs that I haven’t received interviews at?
 
I'm curious about sending letters of interest as well. I applied to a limited number or programs as I'm geographically constrained by caregiver and family needs and am a non traditional applicant (hoping to transition from primary care after 10+ years in practice). I haven't heard anything at all and am losing hope. Do program directors find additional communications annoying or are they pretty standard application practice? Wishing everyone good luck this season!

Sorry to hear that! Out of curiosity, where have you applied? For example, a lot of Northeast programs apparently haven't sent out invites yet. I wouldn't lose hope yet!

Thanks for the encouragement. I'm in an information void here. I applied almost exclusively in Massachusetts. It sounds like I need to be patient. I hope the process is less stressful for you all 🙂
