So I have been admitted to dental school and originally thought I would want to pay my way with loans but after talking with some navy dentists and really asking myself hard questions I came to the point where I can't deny the beauty of a HPSP. I believe it is too late for me to nail down a 4 year commitment, but am I eligable for a 3 year scholarship if I apply as a dental student for the up coming cycle? I guess my main question is did I preclude myself from HPSP by not getting it for my full time in dental school? Thank you for any input and sorry if this has already been answered.

You might be able to get some anecdotal support here but your best bet is getting in touch with your local recruiter and asking them if they are offering 3 year scholarship at this time for dental students.
