HPSP eligibile schools?

Reading over one of the military web sites (I believe it was Navy), it indicated that you could take the HPSP scholarship for attending any:

"AAMC accredited Medical (or select Osteopathic) school of medicine"

Does anyone know if this includes the 17 Canadian AAMC accredited schools? I know that the military forbids international medical schools, but is this due to their being outside of the United States, or because they are not AAMC-accredited.

Any info/help is appreciated...

US and Puerto Rico are ok. I don't think the military pays for a school outside those places.

Canadian schools are "right out!" Nope, I'm 100% sure, but I can't find any documents to back my claim.
