just curious, what's the payback time for UoP? if it's three, it'd a awesome deal. we'd save one year in school and one year in military.

I cannot speak with 100% certainty for UoP, but the way the military scholarships are structured is that if you take a 3 yr scholarship you owe 3 years on active duty, then 5 years in the IRR (something major would have to happen to get called back to active duty from the IRR). No matter how many years you take the scholarship for, you owe the military 8 years. It is just a matter of how many years on active duty that really matters.

It's three years for the Army (at least mine is anyways).

I'm with the AF and it's three years with UOP (hope i'll get in!!), and navy dds is right the IRR becomes 5yrs.
