Just a question for those of you who have gone through the HPSP process. I've filled out all paperwork, completed all required pieces (assessment report, personal statement, autobio statement) and had my interview nearly four weeks ago. I spoke with my recruiter this morning who stated that my packet has been sent to the board, but they are missing the interview letter. They have been telling me for the past few weeks they've been trying to get the letter and have sent a few email up the chain of command but haven't received anything back yet. I'm concerned because I was informed today that I would not be eligible for the board without it, the deadline is on Monday, and they've told me there is nothing else they can do but wait. I'm wondering if it would behoove me to make contact with the Director of the program to figure out what is going on. Will this action raise a red flag at the board?

Which branch?
If Navy, yes, contact Dr. Getka ASAP. If other branches, I have no idea how they work. "interview letter" seems superfluousness. What is that?

Either way, if you havent applied to NAVY, go for it and get your packet in. There may be some time left still for this year.
