hSDN Class of 2012

Goodness gracious. Sunscreen is your friend, compadre. 😛

Ha... Like I'm really one to talk anyways. I'm usually not very good about reapplying unless it's the spray kind in the aerosol cans that takes like 4.29376 seconds to use. 😀

Agreed. Invisible, water-proof, and you mentioned the outstanding application time. Ah, technology.

I am considering starting a thread: The 'Which College Thread', or the 'OMG I soooo neurotic!!!11!!1 Where I go skool for hiiiiigher lerning??'

(Seriously).

Still waiting for a "I got a 89% on my chemistry test. Can I still become a neurosurgeon?" thread to pop up here.

Screw quiz bowl. It's 30% knowledge and 70% luck. We went undefeated, and then in the final round, we get beat twice. I don't know how many questions one can ask on rocks. No one cares. RAGE!!! I hate losing!

I live in fear of that thread. That and every kid in eighth grade seems to want to be a thoracic surgeon.

Hate it when they seem to fixate on a sucky category. Like architecture. Bleeeeeech.

I kinda want the first one...

I can be rather Coxian sometimes (see -Harvard thread).

Is that the adjectival usage of Cox, or a combination of Cox and Dorian? 😀

I love those, AntiHouse. My fave is definitely the jump for joy one.

Hello Ivygrad!! :hello:

Welcome to the forum! 😀

You have peaked my interest, master of suspense Wes Craven, what do you find interesting?

I am intimidated. We have a School Administrator in our presence? :scared:

And lol@ the Wes Craven joke. Heard that so many times while at the movies... With your current employment, I imagine you have as well!

😀 Welcome to Ivygrad! And the other class of 2012-ers who have posted in hSDN recently 🙂

I would just like to take a moment to proclaim my love for spring break, and spring in general. 😍 I love being outside in sunny, 70 degree weather.

Nothing like a walk in the sunshine, but my spring break is over. So jealous. . .

I like rain best at night, falling asleep to the sound of rain is amazing. 😍

I like overcast weather. That middle place between rain and shine...

*performs CPR on thread*

2.5 days without any new posts? I do believe that's a record.

I guess this is remarkable... I've regressed to my 12 year old self with regards to music. Just downloaded 'Hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride" by Jump5 (yes, a Disney band, I don't care I love it!)

You've overlooked the fact that I like Katy Perry, so i'll give Jump5 a try.

Has anyone here read 'Ender's Game'? I highly recommend if you like sci-fi, or good books in general.

I am doing UVU Pre med in fall. I am studying for AP test which will be taken in May. I also have an appointment with the UVU pre- med counselor on Monday man I am nervous.

Nothing to be too worried about. The AP Test probably won't make a big difference, unless you're hoping to claim credit for a humanities class or something. Good luck with the pre-med counselor. You'll be fine.

Good luck with everything!

I honestly wouldn't care if you liked to jam out to the Teletubbies theme song. I think making fun of people's music preferences is dumb. Mainstream or underground, pop or classical, if it sounds good to me, I'll listen to it.

+2 👍

Also, happy Easter compadres! Favorite candy: ready set GO.

I will eat any egg-shaped chocolate like it is my last meal. But if we have to get specific. . . Crunch Bars.

+3 to INS's music comment. Amen.

Also passed a car with a 'My doctor is a NP' bumper sticker. Had an urge to rear end them...

Welcome! I am sure it will go well.

Probably will go well I am planning to take a history credit through one of my AP tests.
College schedules all squared away.

Congrats!

I am still finalizing my course selections, lol.

I'm still finalizing my college selection 😛 I know where I want to go, it's just a matter of finances now. :bang:

The whole financial aid/scholarships/loans process has been about as much fun for me as my wisdom tooth removal. Minus the ridiculously strong painkillers.

Hahaha. I'll be experiencing the latter as well a few days after I graduate. Yay? 😛

It isn't that bad. I was unconsious for the surgery, and had my vicodin/antibiotics in hand in ~15 minutes. The mistake several of my friends made was waiting to get their meds until after the anesthetic from surgery had worn off. That is not what you want to do, believe you me.

Weird, I had them for both occasions.

Yeah, get the painkillers before the anesthetic wears off... It sucks
