hello everyone i am taking the pcat in january i was googling pcat and i got this http://www.pcat-test.com/

any one read it or use it before?
is it really that great like he says so( i am sure its not that great he is advertising himself .. but still is it worth it)?

a question:
when providing pcat scores for the schools that have applications on pharmcas do i send the scores to the pharmcas or directly to the school?

This is a total rip off. I ordered the PTCB version and it was basically like someone google'd key terms and then copied and pasted everything into a word document. Not only that, the information given was totally irrelevant to the actual test.

Let me give you an example of one of their tips on test taking. the #4 tip was like if you can eliminate answers DO NOT do this. If you are not 100% sure of the right answer, simply guess from all the choices. If you eliminate answers, you might eliminate the right answer and then you would be left with a 0% chance of picking the right answer. If you guess without eliminating, then you have a 25% chance to get the right answer.

Following this, tip #14 or so on the list: Eliminate answers you think may be wrong. By the process of elimination, you will have a better chance of getting the correct answer!

Look at the website: http://www.mo-media.com/ptcb/ Its basically the same scam, but with PTCB and PCAT switched out.

I purchased his tests. They are very simple and fundamental. It's good practice as far as time and stamina is concerned but it's not the best practice option as far as the real test is concerned. I payed $20 and downloaded a bunch of questions into a pdf file. The verbal stuff was only analogies and no sentence completion. The reading was somewhat similar to what I saw on the actual pcat. The biology part seemed to have more graphics than the real exam and more general biology than the real test. The math didn't contain any calculus. I don't think it's a waste of money, because taking tests under timed conditions will surely help your stamina on the real exam. Just my two cents though
