I am an average or somewhat competitive applicant when looking at my GPA (science and cumulative ~3.79 and 3.82), research (no publications though) and volunteering (500 hours). But my MCAT is hard to breakdown, because it's good in one area and horrible in another.
The question is will my MCAT hold me from admittance into a US MD school?
503 overall
128(CHEM), 123(CARS), 126(BIO), 126(PSYCH)
I'd consider my CARS score to be atypical when comparing it to my practice exams in the past (at least 70th percentile).
School list, if there is one? I am a Texas resident, open to out of state.
Your score will likely hold you back from many US MD schools. With your GPA, and if you have solid ECs, you may get bites from a few if you apply to the right schools. You specifically ask about US MD. Is there no interest in DO at all?
