I brought my son to bethesda this week for fall break...and wanted to show him where his dad and mom met, but security is preventing me from getting into the hospital unless I knew someone there....any help?

This is my issue so no need to attack, cop.

But cop's recent thread "I am now" is a big reason I have lost interest here. Did this site change? Is SDN now on twitter? That thread reminds me of the commercial where the dad is sitting on the lounge chair and tweets about it with his son standing over him. Who cares? It appears that this site has gone to a different generation where they talk about any and everything just to talk, no meaning necessary.

But like I said, it's my issue and I'll stay out of it.

That's fine. If you have something of value to add, I'm sure you will. I'm not going to judge you, or anyone else here, for whatever you do. I certainly don't think this forum is my personal playground anymore than JPP did when he was posting pictures of his kids here over the past coupla years telling everyone how beautiful they were (etc.). Just like I didn't judge you when you were talking about snowboarding in Alaska and posting pictures there either.

So, to each his own. The merits of each thread will get judged by the number of responses/hits it gets. I still like this forum for its "lighthanded" moderation, my recent tiff with Blade (that seems to have scared him off) aside.

Post or don't post. That's your choice. No one is telling you otherwise. If you're bored/sick of this forum, then so be it. It'll go on with or without you... just as it will with or without me.

One more thing, Noyac, that I think might help...

You can put me on ignore. Here's how:

(1) Go to "My Account" at the top of the page.
(2) Under that menu, go to "Edit Ignore List".
(3) There will be a box that says "Add a Member to Your List...".
(4) Type "coprolalia" in that box. Click the "Okay" button.
(5) A new window will come up with my name and a box with a check in it next to it.
(6) Click the "Save Changes" button.

In this way, my posts will not appear to you (unless someone quotes me in their post). You can always go back and "unignore" me by going to that menu and unclicking the check mark next to my name, then saving the changes.

It's so much easier than that. You only need to click on their username in a post. It's the last option.

Thanks! You're right.

I openly invite anyone who doesn't like my posts or think I don't have value to add to this forum to do one of the following:

(1) Put me on your ignore list.
(B) Simply ignore me.
(iii) Henceforth refrain from referencing or indirectly commenting on/denigrating one of my posts, or otherwise commenting on something I've said or done, which proves you haven't done (1) or (B).

I'm the first one to admit and understand that this forum isn't all about the Internet character named "coprolalia". Fact is, none of you knows who I am in the real world (despite the fact that I know who many of you are in the same). And, I like it like that.

So, if you can't get over me and continue to post what you feel is relevant information, then I further invite you to get over yourself.
