dude ap credit is not acceptable as humanities

But for most state medical schools, humanities courses aren't even an actual requirement, so how is ap credit not acceptable?

For most schools who require humanities courses, AP credit doesn't usually count. They're typically upper tier. Also, most schools want to see a decent chunk of humanities courses to prove that you are well rounded and can read stuff.

The only problem for me is that my schedule doesn't leave much room to take a bunch of humanities classes, so do you all think 9-12 semester hours by the time I apply and 15-18 semester hours by the time I graduate (beyond AP) would be considered well rounded enough for most schools? Thanks in advance!

You really have to check with your state school's requirements. My state school required 6 credits of English and I think many schools are similar.
