Would it be bad if I took "Intro to Theater" as a hybrid course (it's half online half in person). This would be so much better for me as far as convenience but I don't want it to look bad and won't take it if it will jeopardize my chances for med school. It's for a gen ed requirement

I don't think taking a hybrid "intro to theater" course is going to get you rejected from med school. If it's more convenient that way, go for it.

You can even take it fully online if you wish 😀

I've taken several hybrid EMT classes .. and they let me provide medical care for people with those. Medical schools probably won't look too closely, and they almost certainly won't care. Especially for a class like "Intro to Theater"; it may be a different issue if we're talking about a pre-requisite course.

If it isn't a prereq, no one cares. Only way they might is if your school notes online courses as such on your transcript and you took like 30 of them.
