Anything between boiling and melting is liquid.
Stuff is a liquid when its sandwiched between MP line and BP line (it melted, but hasnt boiled). 4C,5C,and 6C chains seem to fall in this range.
So when between 0 and -100 degrees Celsius, I drew a horizontal line. The points of intersection were at n=3 for the boiling point line and just nearly n=7 for the melting point line. So the question is what do the intersected points represent? A phase change that is going on? And what do the dips and different curves mean?

Are you saying the left side is gas, the middle is liquid, and the right half is solid?

Yes, along the horizontal line at -50. It's a simple phase diagram.
