FA page 212 it's mentioned Gillian-barrè syndrome is type II hypersensitivity and that multiple sclerosis is type III. Aren't they both antibodies against myelin tissue except one for Schwann cells and the other oligodindrocytes? So both are supposed to be type II? Thanks

Guillian-Barre has two subtypes, one is mediated by a type II hypersensitivity reaction, and the other is by type IV, they both cause autoimmune destruction of nerves.
MS is a type IV hypersensitivity reaction...not type III
Which FA are you using?
