Hypo/hyperkalemia on Cardiac Cycle

Im still having difficulty on the physiologic effects of hypokalemia on the cardiac cycle. Also why would would see a "U wave" on an EKG. What does this represent?

Also what is the effect of hyperkalemia on the cardiac cycle?

Hyperkalemia depolarizes the cell.
Hypokalemia hyperpolarizes the cell.

The U-wave is repolarization of papillary muscles and prominent U-waves are associated with hypokalemia and can look like Long QT on an EKG.
