So if you get an MP/P in major class like pharm but all your other grades are good, how screwed are you when it comes to getting a residency? If I did well on the USMLE would that partially make up for it?
(I had a pharm final today which I am panicking about. Apparently sleep deprivation + test you're already freaking out about=not good :scared:)

I'm thinking it means marginal pass. Probably not a big deal to residency programs, especially if you only have one.

MP is a marginal pass. My school requires you to get a score of 70 on the NBME shelf exam for pharm in order to pass the class; if you would be passing the class (even with your crappy score on the final) but you didn't make their desired score on this exam, you get sent to MP land and 4 fun-filled weeks of studying for the retake.
