Strong work in Texas. Bummer they didn't mention debt more.

The way I see it, one can get approx 150g's towards loans when doing those under-served type programs. This would be for about 5 years worth. Does this sound about right?

Does it sound like they will up the ante in the next couple yrs for even greater amounts to be repaid?

What have you seen in the real world? Have you seen people obtain repayments as I mentioned above and further negotiate additional amounts?

What kind of negotiations have you seen family docs obtain in the private sector?

I want to go solo, unfortunately I think I might have to go one of these routes for the first 3-5 yrs. I want to get to solo as fast as possible.

Do you think there will be any government assistance/ forgiveness for new FM docs going straight into solo practice out of residency?
