There are two schools in NY that I really felt good at. One MD and one DO🙂. AECOM and NYCOM, I visited AECOM couple of times and felt like home 🙂 and NYCOM gave me the same feeling. I was at Downstate,Columbia and MSSM (did undegrad research project and had to go there for materials), but never got this feeling...Strange right...?

I am ver happy that NYCOM offered me an acceptance, I still cannot believe in it. I hope I am not dreaming.

No those schools did not accept me, but they have my application. I would rather withdraw mine so they could spent their time looking at other people applications.🙂
 
Congrats on the acceptance!! I too was just accepted to NYCOM, so maybe I will see you there!...

and as I know a lot of people ask about LOR's I was accepted without a DO or MD LOR and a lower MCAT (24R). so you all can do it too!!!

My primary was recieved by NYCOM beginning of December, recieved interview invite dated Dec. 21 (didn't get until Jan 3), interviewed Jan 18, accepted today! Good luck!

I bet it feels great to get that weight off your shoulders. I spoke to a buddy from high school who is going to school at an osteopathic, Barry U near Miami, I think. He is in rotations and thus far feels great about ending up there. He said, so I'm a DO. I'm still going to be an ER Doc.

Congrads again. Now go do some fun, crazy stuff between now and the time classes start.

I got accepted to NYCOM today as well. It was exactly one week after my interview.
I want to thank all my fellow SDN members who greatly contributed and supported me in my application process. I especially want to thank Doctormom78 for helping me edited my essays to ensure they have high quality.

Thank you for answering all my quesions even when they were weird and ridiculous. 😀
