Just because you guys have applied to medical school doesn't mean the situations are the same.
My biggest irritation are people getting pissed off because I don't find their irrelevent information useful. A few people have given some useful advice and I appreciate it. Most others have made suggestions based on completely irrelevant or incorrect information, then expect a thanks for it? I stated in the first or second post of mine that my letters were from science faculty, yet following there are several posts regarding my missing DO letter.
Hell, I said as early as post #18 that I didn't have the money to take any more classes just for a LOR, yet it was suggested how many times after that?
How many people give the same exact "advice" as someone before them did? What's the point of this?
The thread was about my letters of recommendation. Not taking more classes (which I said I couldn't do), not getting more financial aid (which I said I can't get), and not about my personality (which is completely irrelevent).
So what am I supposed to do? Smile and thank everyone who supplies me with bull**** advice or "enlightens" everyone with pointless personal attacks or, God forbid, unqualified "personality" evaluations?
If you're tired of me acting like your, "10-year old daughter", then stop posting inflammatory personal attacks. Such as calling me immature/stupid/Passive-aggressive/suggesting I fix my panties, etc. Not surprisingly, I have seen many young teenagers post the similar comments towards others on message boards. Guess you're not much better than I am then, huh? 🙄
