oh hey! you just commented on my post about my chances lol! Your gpa looks solid enough to me and your shadowing/EC's are even better! ITs pretty hard to gage chances without a DAT tho, but if you score similar to what i did hopefully we both will be fine this coming cycle!

I agree 100% with you, the DAT is a huge part of the application. Hopefully all goes well in May with it and ill be locked in for this cycle. I'm just trying to be as good as you Mr. FUTUREDENTIST! Thank you for your time!

lmao how is uconn and cali close to CA, but holy **** 20-25 schools! if you do well on your DAT im sure you can cut that list in half!
uconn was the only toss up that i threw in there. I know better than to waste my money on applying to NYU, UPENN, Boston, etc... i have no chance there. Hopefully if i do well i wont have to apply to 20-25 :*(. Man this whole thing is going to cost an arm and a leg.

OH woops meant Pittsburgh not cali in my last comment! and dude you cant say you dont have a chance at those schools with that gpa and you cant say you dont have a chance when you havent even taken the DAT yet! NYU, boston, and Penn are private so they give no preference to oos to in state (i think). and tell me about it... applying, flying/driving to interviews and booking overnight places alone is gunna be a taxing on my wallet. dont even get me started about paying 4 years tuition...

Why do you think you don't have a chance at NYU or Boston?

I just feel like my stats aren't as good as some people that have received admissions to that university. Correct me if I'm wrong champ.
You're wrong. Those are seen as easier schools. And you have almost no shot at the seemingly random out of state public schools you listed. You need to do some research. Get the ADEA guide
