Hey guys,

I am preparing for sep 2013 pcat.

So i got the kaplan blue book 2013-2014 and Dr collins 2012. The problem is that Dr collins seems way too easy compare to kaplan book. There are a lot of concepts Dr collins does not cover. On the other hand, I feel like kaplan book goes in too deep.I am getting pretty decent scores in Dr collins practice tests ( in all subjects). Due to the fact that only a month is left, I am planning to stick with Dr collins mainly.

What are your suggestions? Should I only rely on Dr collins and able to pull off 90th percentile??

thanks

Kaplan goes in way too into depth, good for your own understanding of a topic (but who has that kind of time).

Collins is straight forward and to the point, in addition to Collins material, purchase the 3 pearson practice tests. This will show you your areas of weakness.

Use Kaplan more as a reference for when you don't understand a topic covered in Collins.

Hope this helps. (In response to the person above me, he is right. My answer is basically a summary of what is on the other forums regarding this topic.)

Good luck!! 🙂🙂🙂

Dr. Collins will help you get above a 90th percentile more efficiently because it is literally questions that have been on the PCATs before and some questions you will even see verbatim/very similar on test day.
