I got an X next to a course; can we know what change they made?

I finally have been verified, but under one course, I have an "X", the course appears as I inputted and my GPA is the same as before on the printout. My question is: if they made a change should the change appear on the printout and also be reflected on the printout GPA? The grade was a "U" (unathorized withdrawl) so I inputted the U and allowed the system to convert it. The conversion did not factor the U into my GPA. Now I'm worried AMCAS converted the U into an F and is going to mass mail all the med schools to shred my paper applications.

I really can't wait for this cycle to end

I got one too - everything looked the same as before, so I don't know what they changed. Perhaps they changed something and then changed it back, and the X automatically shows up. I don't think they changed it to an F, or else your GPA would have changed. It must be something minor - I'm not going to worry.

I got lots of X's, all on P/F or Cr/NC classes, and I couldn't see that they'd changed a thing, except that on the GPA page, my AP units are now noted, whereas before they didn't show up at all. No change in GPA. I too have decided not to worry about it. I think it's the AMCAS specialists not following their own guidelines (imagine that! ;) )about what marks to use.

Except for the pass/no pass courses, you should be able to see the changes that they made. I noticed that they changed my credit hour for one of my classes that should be 1.5 hours to 3 hours. I have no idea why they decided to do that, since my transcript says it should be 1.5. Ah, AMCAS. Just when I was becoming happy with my AMCAS situation they had to go screw something up.

They wound up giving me credit for pure lab classes, which actually raised my GPA up .01 points. At least they did something good in the end huh?

Look at the details they may have changed. I had X's and O's galore for things that I just mistyped in my hurry to get the AMCAS done with.

For example instead of Physics 2 it was Physics II or for Organic Chem 1 Lab, i was supposed to get 2 credits and I inadvertantly put 1 credit (got in the routine of thinking lab = 1 credit) stuff like that.
