I got in post bac..when should i retake my MCAT???

Hey all,
I got in Post bac program at a D.O school. MY question is when should be retaking my MCATs... I heard students score better in their MCATs after taking 1st semester classes in post-bac.
If I wait till i retake my MCAT in Jan 2010 then - iwill not be able to apply to MD school for fall 2010.. correct?? MD application start and end btw JUne and Dec

I can apply to D.O schools, but it will be late application..

Some one could please help me ... I dont know If i should retake it before i start post bac.. .in sept 09 or wait till dec 09 or jan 2010

I think the latest MCAT score that schools will accept for 2010 admission would be the September 2009 administration. Most schools will not look at the January 2010 score except for students who are waitlisted.

I know this is the case for M.D. schools. I'm not sure about the D.O. schools.

Some schools don't even accept the Aug 09 ones. Check the MSAR with the schools you are thinking of applying to
