hi guys. i find that whenever i have a lack of sleep, the next day my right eye twitches nonstop for the entire day. everyone can see it and ask me if i am OK, "no i am not OK! i got the twitch!"

so what can i do to get rid of the twitch?

Eating bananas and taking vitamins with Magnesium helps relieve twitching sometimes. Stay away from coffee/coke.

I got an eye twitch last year too. Excess caffeine, stress, sleep deprivation, increased time reading all seemed to contribute. Getting more sleep and drinking less coffee helped me.

It is funny that you mention this. Ever since medical school started, my right eye twitches REALLY bad every once in a while. It is a bit unpleasant (it is more of a mini-spasm than a twitch.. I can't seem to control it). The funny part is that sometimes people think I am winking at them... this was of course fine until my histo prof thought I was either: A. Hitting on him, or B. Making a joke when I was trying to answer questions during small group.
