I had the most amazing dream last night. I was dreaming about being accepted to my #1 school, and going to the orientation (around august). I was one VERY happy, and excited person... Actually, I woke up with a big smile on my face, and then realized that August is so far away, and December is quite a ways away too.

Haha... any of you get a dream like this?

(Sorry... I know probably most here wont care, but I just had to share my wonderful dream)

Visualization is a powerful, proven tool in areas like sports, where you have all the skills you need but just need to get out of your own way. Some call this "relaxed concentration." (By the way, that link is really interesting, if you have some time... read it!)

That said, the overlap between sports and dentistry is small at best, but the mental ability to put a good face on things and stay positive through this exhausting process will serve you well. Hang in there!
