I hate constantly being evaluated every single day..stupid medicine

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Board score, grades (you get a transcript long before the MSPE), research, AOA, LORs

All the MSPE adds is the class rank and subjective comments from evals
Except the interviews come out quite rapidly in some fields like IM and FM. You really think they'll go thru each transcript and notice the grading scheme, or are they just counting the number of H's (assuming the highest grade is H, when it might not necessarily be so (i.e. Outstanding, etc.)?

Do your best and don't worry about your evals. I don't even read mine - I know what I have to work on, so I work on it.

Little known fact, residents and attendings are stupid and can't see through transparent ass kissing.

What about non-transparent ass kissing?

Meaning: What if the ass-kisser is really good at it?

You're not being "graded" per say, but you are being evaluated month to month. What sucks is your responsibilities are greater than when you're a student.

Residency is so much easier. Yes, you have more responsibility, but that is one of the best things about being a resident.

The kicker is that you are no longer worried about securing a residency spot so you have a future. Residency evals are all about not being the worst resident in the class. Everything else is just gravy.
