Ok, Albert Einstein, George Washington, Jefferson, NYU, Northwestern, U. Miami, U. Pennsylvania, UVA, Pitt, Loyola, Emory, Mt. Sinai, USF.....why are you all torturing me!!!!! I've been complete for almost two months, my stats are competitive, my recommendations were great, I had good EC's -- why haven't you contacted me? ACK!!! This whole thing is driving me insane.

what's up with these people torturing us? At least put me out of my misery or call me in, but this waiting, waiting, waiting....You know what, when I have a practice (in like 12 years) and I know a medical school admissions person is waiting to be seen I'll make them wait all day and when I finally see them I'll act like nothing out of the ordinary is going on (akin to our interviews).

Also, I'll make sure to make them wait an extra week before giving them the results of medical tests.

TAKE THAT MEDICAL SCHOOL ADMISSIONS PEOPLE!!!

Ugghh! I can't read about people who have been invited for 7 interviews anymore. I was so laid back before this whole process began and now I'm neurotic....I check my e-mail every 20 minutes and I spend way too much time on this forum.

I totally hear you loud and clear. Enough is enough. Yay, everyone's great! And getting into schools! And I'm happy for them! And I am. But it's starting to get just a wee bit grating...but then again, I'm the one who reads the posts...and who obsesses...Doh.

Still waiting ... waiting ... don't understand why GWU takes so long ... more than 12 weeks for me already ....

and waiting for Mt. Sinai, Tufts, Finch, and some Calif schools .... so I guess the best solution is keep waiting and to keep hope alive =)

This week has been the worst so far for me. I was really hoping to hear something by the end of this month, since I took the Aug MCAT and scores have been out for >2 weeks now, and I have had everything else in at 14 schools since September at most of them. Well, I did hear something yesterday--a rejection! 👎 My financial situation is terrible trying to pay rent, car insurance, groceries, etc. on top of the app fees, and I work full-time! So far, with Kaplan MCAT course, AMCAS, and secondaries, I have spent over $3000 this year on med school related fees, and I don't even have an interview to show for it. I'm starting to feel very discouraged. 🙁

Don't be discouraged...(although coming from someone who is waiting in agony until April (Canadian schools are later...) If you are determined it will happen...

sorry about the rejection...where from? but if it makes you feel any better i haven't gotten any interviews either and neither have several other August MCATers that i know

Nope! I'm an April MCATer too. These schools have had EVERYTHING for over two months. *sigh* I can't take this anymore.

Hey all, I also took the April MCAT, and have been complete at all of my schools for almost two months. I am becomming to obsessed with this process that I would almost prefer rejections from some schools instead of hearing nothing!! Many of my friends are getting great interviews and I am happy for them, but I am worried that I would get a March interview at a rolling school, or worse, not get any at all!!! This is such an expensive process and I don't want to have to do it again.

i feel exactly the same way - lots of the schools on you listed havent contacted me either and ive been complete for mths... this process is definately too drawn out...

Its not even near over yet either! Some of us won't find out for sure until next summer - wait lists, etc! That's crazy since a lot of us started applying last June. 😱

Yesterday my goal was to check my email and voicemail only twice, at 10 am and at 4 pm.....it actually felt better then sitting next to the computer and checking email every 20 mins. ( I was checking my watch instead) .... The only problem that the outcome was the same....sigh****
I just can't wait untill this nightmare of uncertainty is over.....
