I have an interview @ einstein in NOV...should I email NYMC and MSSM for interview???

What do you think, should I ask if im gonna be interviewed in NOV or is that pushing it? Has anyone done this and have you been successful or had a bad reaction? Thanks

Sinai wasn't very receptive to my call. The woman simply said that my app was complete and no info on possible interview.

Has anyone else called?

Yes, contact them. Although you should probably call them. They will tell you on the phone what you should do (lots of times they have you write a letter). Don't ask if you are going to be interviewed in Nov, just say that you are from "insert far away place here" and that you will be in the area on whichever day and that if they are going to interview would it be okay to do it then. If anything, it doesn't hurt to ask and plenty people have done it.

PS if you are from New Jersey, probably not a good idea. I think it's best if you are actually spending money on a plane ticket (or a very long drive).

NYMC does not aswer e-mails, and they don't tell you anything over the phone, but I think it is worth trying. I'll be in the area in Nov, I'm from Cali and I tried to see if I can get in to interview with them. The answer was that my application was in review, but they have so many applications that it is nearly impossible for them to tell me when exactly my application will get reviewed and a decision made.
But it never hurts to try. Good luck!

I called Sinai and they offered me an interview... BUT they were booked the week that I'll be in NY so I'm gonna have to fly back to NY in December- I'm from Cali. The whole grouping interviews is not working well for me.
