Navy I have an interview with the NAVY for HPSP coming up. Any tips?

hey there,

I have an interview scheduled this week and I was wondering if you guys can give me some insights on what type of questions they normally ask, etc.

thanks.
You should ask your recruiter to send over a list of questions (if they haven't already). It's very chill and straight forward, why dent, why navy, what school, why, what'd you learn from shadowing, tell me more about shadowing. It's a cakewalk after interviewing at D-schools. G/L!

Is your interview by phone or in person? I had two phone interviews by two Captains and had pretty different experiences. One was much more laid back and lasted well over 45 min., while the other was ridiculously short (<10 min.). Like most interviews, they have an interview sheet to fill out, so you should be able to answer the questions Troyvdg wrote. IIRC, I was also asked to list three adjectives that best described me. One final thing, if you have a LoA, mention that as soon as possible in the interview. That really changes the tone of the interview, imo.
