I havr anemia - can it cause poor memory and concentration

Today , i had a blood test and i've found out that i have anemia due to iron deficiency : hemoglobin = 12 g/100ml
Male
23 years old
6feet
200 lbs
The reason that drove to check myself is chronic fatigue ( i feel tired all day ) , can't take the stairs without being out of breath and also i have a hard time studying and retaining

I was wondering does anemia due to iron deficiency cause learning problems ? Difficulty in memorising ?
