I heard from the school after my interview, is acceptance likely?

Hey everyone,

Yesterday I went and interviewed at the school of my choice and the interview went very well. I received a phone call a few hours after the interview saying that due to my PCAT scores not being received yet, they are going to have to hold off. They said they may wait for fall grades too.

I have already graduated, so there are no fall grades coming, which is what I said to the person. I told them I would get my PCAT scores to them as soon as possible.. apparently PharmCas and Pearson are having issues sending scores between one another.

Anyways, I have a 3.30 Cumulative, 2.98 Science, very good pharmacy work experience, 3 pharmacist LORS + 1 other LOR, a legacy at the school, an 82 on my PCAT and a good personal statement...

Has anyone been denied acceptance due to issues with application matierals? I was so devastated when I heard over the phone they were going to 'hold off' because of that. Other people who interviewed when I did, who also had a 3.30 Cum and much lower PCAT scores, already received their acceptace.

Do I have any hope? Thanks for input

Just a question, but you graduated when? So you didn't have any classes in the fall right? Also, I think people have been denied before because they failed to get in the proper application materials. Make sure to fix the problem with PCAT score as soon as possible.

I graduated in August of this year, so my last semester was spring

They can't formally accept you until they have your PCAT scores (or at least that's what it sounds like to me). The fact that they're holding off on your decision until they get them probably doesn't mean anything either way, good or bad.
