I just graduated, and I'm applying in June. Will do my DAT retake in July.

After I complete my DAT, what should i do instead of sitting and waiting for interviews.

Do i do a masters or can i take like some upper level courses to boost my gpa ? WHat do ppl do after they graduate and r still applying for dental school?

My GPA is 3.48
DAT is 18/18

didn't get accepted anywhere on first cycle

What is your science GPA? A lower SciGPA with an 18 DAT may have been the problem. If it is just your science GPA and BCP that is low I would take upper level bio courses as a post bacc and bring those up on top of the DAT retake.

I'm not sure if taking classes after you apply will do anything. There is an academic update in January but that's a little late for schools to take notice and make a decision about you based on the classes. Its worth a shot if you're really wanting your gpa up. I'd go for volunteer experiences you can talk about during interviews.
