I can't seem to find it anywhere and I don't fully understand the graph because the R looks more like an L and the K species looks like the mirror of that...
Just try to think about the type of species and the investment they make into their offspring and it becomes more intuitive. For example, K selected species like gorillas produce low numbers of ofspring, have a long gestation (pregnancy), and therefore invest a lot into their offspring as they want them to survive. So you have a low number of offspring with a high survivorship.

I mean I understand the whole concept. I was just wondering if there was a specific shape of the curve that I should know. Like r-species have a "J-shaped" curve apparently. Wasn't sure if there was a specific shape for the others as well...
