So I'm an unusual case...

I'm a healthy young adult. Recent blood work is all normal.

Apparently when I was very young I tried something that was spicy. This apparently caused me to become a very picky eater.

Fast forward a couple decades. Outside of my normal food group, I gag whenever I try something new. Is it psychological or is there something I can do to reduce my awful gag reflex?
