I might get a D in my class...will D-school rescind offer!??

I already got into D-school, and i might be getting a D+ in a statistics class...but it is not required for D-school or anything. I go to a UC school, and as I understand it, I will still get the credits for the course so that I will fulfill all my units requirements and earn my bachelor's degree...but now im scared, will D-school rescind their offer???

according to the documents i received, it only said "C" in all prerequisite courses (which I have) and final transcripts verifying my bachelors degree (which i will still get). i know i shouldve done better, but whats done is done...im just wondering, am i okay, or did i screw myself???

If I were you I would give the school a call. Because I know that if you get below a C in any class after you get accepted may ruin your chance. But give thema call and see because if they wont accept the d then at least you could maybe try to retake the class in the second block of summer!

Give the school a call, and let them know your situation. Especially since it's not a pre-req (though possibly a recommended class), they may not mind as much. I know first hand how ruthless UC curves can be, having gotten a D myself because of one of them, so it happens, and they may understand that. Be SURE to do well in your other classes this quarter though.

thanks guys..yea, i was only taking 3 courses..2 science and 1 stats, and i got an A in my science courses..i just SUCK at math.lol ill call them tmrw..thanks for the advice

so for anyone who was curious and for future searchers...as long as you receive your degree before matriculation and as long as the D is not in a prerequisite course for dental school, then you should be okay. ofcourse youre gpa is not gunna look so hot, but hey..atleast you dont get ur acceptance riscinded!
