What is the best PDA to use. If price does not matter, what PDA would be the best for a P4 and future pharmacist.

Pocket PC uses Windows. Palm uses the Palm OS. Some people like Windows because they're used to it on their PC. I use a Mac, so that was not a factor. I chose the Palm OS. I found it easier to use and more intuitive. My PDA has the built in keyboard so I can type and not have to press letters with the stylus. This is a feature that I really like.

Whichever PDA you get, make sure you get Lexi-Complete. I couldn't live without it.

what type of softwares do you guys have loaded into your PDA/Palms? are they free or do you have to subscribe? are there discounts because you are pharmacy students?

I plan on having a Linux OS PDA phone... do you know which softwares support that or where I can find that info?

Did you have to get a memory card to handle Lexi-Complete? I have a Dell Axim x30 and am considering upgrading to a Dell x51v because Lexi-Complete requires at least 40Mb of memory.

I have a Palm Tungsten C and it required no extra memory. That's because the Palm OS does not take up much room compared to Windows.

Phone, PDA, GPS, radio all in one. I looked at it in NY over the holidays. Pretty sweet. Around $800, but probably cheaper online.
