Hi,

I need a recommendation for a good neuro rehab program and doctor in NYC STAT.

I'm a physiatrist, but I don't live in NY. A close family member just had brain surgery for a lymphoma tumor removal in her cerebellum on Sunday and has some residual neuro deficits in balance, speech, language. She is currently in inpatient rehab in MA, but she wants to be closer to her oncologist at Sloan Kettering where she can be more closely monitored.

Please recommend the best inpatient and outpatient programs for neuro rehab/brain injury, better yet a specific physiatrist.

Dr. Stubblefield is one of the best physiatrist in the NYC area. His specialty is cancer rehab.

If you are looking for an inpatient brain injury unit, I would say Mt. Sinai. They have one of a few TBI model systems in the area and are in NYC. Across the river in NJ, there is always Kessler.
