i need an advice!! please help me !!

hello guys

i have some trouble submitting my application.

i haven't tanken DAT yet (it will be on august 8th) and my committee letter won't be ready until late september.

my questions are..

1) should i e-submit my app although my letter's not gona be ready until late september?

2) for transcript matching form, should i type it or print and handwrite it?

3) once i submit my app, what should i do right after? do i ask my school to send the transcript?

4) my school is SDA and many students go to Loma Linda dental school, and i noticed that their committee letter has 2 parts - one for academic and in general, and the other for spiritual life (just for Loma Linda). if they electronically submit those letters, do other schools look at the spiritual part as well? if, so, how negative would that impact on my chances for other schools?

5) i heard sup. apps are to be submitted to each school only when they ask me. since my letter won't be ready by end of september, when will i have to submit my sup. apps?


Sorry that i have tons of questions. But i really do need some help and advice because for now, i want to focus on my prep for DAT which is in like 5 weeks.

so... please help!!

1) if your letters are not ready,they will very likely not review your app since it's not complete ( unless you have 3.8+, ans AA 22+). Why does it take so long for such a letter? Do the writers know you well?

3. you should have request your transcripts while you are completing your app, not after. That will delay the process ( it take a couple of weeks for them to calculate your GPAs)
4. idk, LLU is strongly affiliated with SDA, which was the reason why I did not apply. Call and ask
5. You have to do your homework, look around ADEA website. Each school is different. Again, call and ask or look at their website.

Yes E-submit that way they can process you and when everything is ready when you are! Also they will send a email to your committee so maybe that will move things along

I handwrote mine

You can ask before-thats what I did.

Spirituality should not take away from your app, but if you are submitting a committee letter you will only be able to submit one more and that should be from a dentist. Then have your spiritual letter sent via fax!!!

After September-If I were you I would go beg from them to do it faster-Im not sure what your stats are, but everyone should probs have there app in before sept 1st in hopes of a pre-dec interview
