Hi I don't have much knowledge about dental admissions and need some help from people to decide what I need to do to get into Dental School. I'm a pre med student who recently decided to switch to dental school. So I need some opinions to which schools would be a good schools for me to apply to gain admission this cycle.
Some info about me
3.64 GPA 3.7ish Science GPA
DAT 20 AA, 21 SA, 18 QR and PAT, 19 QC
Research 1.5 years
~200 hrs shadowing (doctors only)
100 hrs volunteer
Full time Research technician.

Possible schools I looked at are UPenn, NYU, BU, Tufts, Michigan, USC, UoP

What worries me most is the weak QR, PAT and no experience shadowing dentists. Do you guys think I have legitimate shot at schools this cycle or need to wait? I really need help and make my decision quick so if you guys could help me out, it'd really appreciated.

Not sure about the schools that you selected, but some require that you have shadowed a dentist for at least 30 hours (or more).

I think it's a wise thing to do before you invest all your time and money into the program.

Other than that, I think your numbers look acceptable, despite a weaker PAT score 🙂

QR is fine.
