i am a junior, and fall semester grades have come out,
and i am doing really poorly.

i currently have a C+ in gen bio 2, gen chem 2, and C is both orgo 1 and 2. and i just got a C in physiology.

my overall gpa is now a 3.15. i haven't calculated my science gpa because everyone i ask has different answers as to whether or not math and stats grades count. ( i am a math minor so i have a lot of math classes besides calc 1..)

i still reallyyy want to go to dental school. i spent my last summer job shadowing a dentist and he let me assist him in various procedures and i loved it.

so can someone tell me what i should do??

does anyone know any good predental post bacc programs? or 1-2 year masters designed for students who need a gpa boost? i dont really want to spend 4 years in grad school..

thanks!

Science gpa includes math. BCP gpa is biology chem and physics.

Improve your grades from now on, and get around a 23/24 on the DAT and I think you will get in

I agree with the previous post, show the admissions committee you can handle tough upper level classes (and that this semester was a fluke...show an improvement).

Do well on the DAT (23 or 24 seems high, but why not right??)👍
