I had three interviews last cycle (Temple, UNLV, and Case Western). I did not get in. My stats last year were GPA 3.4, science GPA 3.3. DAT PA22 BIO20 GC19 OC18 RC22 QR17 AA19 TS19. The bad thing was that two of those interviews were after Dec1st.
For this cycle my stats are GPA 3.51, sci GPA 3.42, and I did not retake DAT. However this year I now have my bachelors and I have done a bunch of service. I also have 2 years of experience assisting in oral surgery.
So far this year I have interview invites to Indiana University, Midwestern, and ASDOH all scheduled before Dec 1st. I anticipate getting a few more interviews for this fall (i put out a but load of apps this year cause i was so mad last year when i did not get in)...
Sorry, this is long, getting to the point my question is this:
Should I retake the DAT sometime this fall to get better scores and solidify my chances of getting in? OR are my chances good, and taking the DAT again would be a waste of time? What if I did worse? Sorry this is so long, thanks for your input!!!
