I am currently attending a small university in PA. My first semester I got a gpa of 4.0, because I loan issues I was forced to take my spring semester off. I than took Gen Chem 2 in a cc so I could take Organic in the fall in which I am doing now. I got an A in the course, so right now my gpa is a 4.0.

To get to the point, I just want to know what I need to do to make it into a m.d school. My first sem I was involved in a health society club and a leadership club. Currently I'm in the same health club and the chem club, I'm going to try to to do lots of volunteering, and get involved in as many things as I can handle.

I'm pretty much a sophomore, but its there any advice you guys could give me? Anything, like studying for mcats, or when to shadow, anything would be greatly appreciated.

1. Finish your pre-requisites + maybe an extra course of physiology or w.e
2. Study for mcat : Take a class and study for 3 months ahead of the test
3. Clinical volunteering : Without clinical volunteering your chances = 0.
4. Research and non-medical volunteering.

1-4 in terms of what is most important.
