Hi guys,

I'm staying in NYC for the semester and I was wondering if there's anything I can do here that's related to medical school. I was thinking in terms of EMS/EMT training- I heard with some hours of training, you can get a certificate or something.. I'll only be in NYC for the rest of this year so I really want to take advantage of the city while I'm still here

Almost any community college offers an EMT certification course. Many programs offer a condensed one-semester option (though it is basically a full-time commitment).
