hi
thank you for this great site.

i am now in the year that i will start to deal patient.

I was dealing in the pervious year with the phantoum head, and now i will deal with the patients directly and i will start to treating them...... i am really affraid from this new experiance and it's effect on me........i want to start in a way that i can trust in my work and in the same time to gain the patient's trust.

i am sure that some of you face this before, so i hope that some of you can give me some important hints about:
1- the best way to deal with patients for the first time.
2-the way that i can gain there trust
3-hints about L.A
4- any thing which can help me in this year

thank you so much for reading my post

This is a very interesting and a very different from the usual topics.

Patient care will come easy with experience and with experience only. The best way to deal with them is to show compassion. Be confident but dont come off as over confident either. Pt's can really pick up on all that.
Pt care usually is a wonderful experience except when its on one those days and you get on of those paients, then you go nuts !
You will make a few mistakes but just take it as a learning experience.
Your school will tell you how to go about meeting your first patient etc,..... when the time is right.....
