I need your advise! only one LoR from Sci Prof

I had one from a physiology prof, one from an english prof, and one from a dentist. I decided one from an english prof would be great b/c i am not a native speaker.
However, I found some dental schools require at least 2 science prof's LoR later.
I have another sci prof who said he would write for me, but he takes so long. I e-mailed and called him to remind him this urgency, but he doesn’t really care. I am now scared to call again b/c he might screw the letter off

I am worried about if my application will be outstanding until the sci prof's letter is ready.

Do schools really check how many sci prof letters before completing my application?

has anyone suffered from this same dilemma?🙁

I am in the same situation. I submitted in July but am still waiting on 1 science LOR that I asked for in April 🙁 I don't want to bother a professor who is doing me a favor

It looks like most schools will not review my application until they get the letter, but I know at least one will.

I'm also in the same situation. I submitted my app in early June but am still waiting on one more letter of reference. Does anyone know if admissions committees only consider you for an interview if you have all the letters in? BTW erk005, you seem to have solid stats-why didn't you get in?

Do you have a different science prof you could ask? I was in the same situation for weeks; my professor ignored multiple e-mails and phone messages. I couldn't take it anymore so I deleted him from my AADSAS app and asked another professor, who wrote and submitted the letter in less than a week. If you have a back up, that would be my advice. It's not ideal to request a letter from another professor on such short notice, but just explain the crappy situation that you've been put in as politely as possible and hopefully they will be understanding. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

yeah. i don't want the prof to be mad at me and screw me over.
I don't know why he initially told me he would happy to write it for me.
If he didn't, I could start looking for another prof months ago

From my experience most schools will not review your app until everything is in including Fees, LOR, etc. Only one school told me that they are reviewing my app with my other three LORs that are already in.

I think I did not get in last cycle because I applied in late August, had a 17/18/20 DAT, had a 3.3 GPA, didn't retake the DAT until November, have no public instate schools, applied to some very competitive schools, etc.
