Do you know if there are any special burs to work on the typodont teeth?
I just started practicing and I am having a hard time....maybe is that my hand is not used to those kind of ivorine teeth but the diamond burs are really hard to maneuver....😱 the teeth are just tooooo soft!!!
I will apreciate any advice, support words, tips for a beginner, just anything...

😕 Not that I know off.....

Hi dentistjas:

It is my first time working on the typodont and did not know if I was using the "right stuff". I guess it takes some time to get used to the consistency of the teeth and get your hand "calibrated"....🙂
Thank you for your quick reply...

🙂 I just found this post by NileBDS....Wish I had read it before I wrote this post....

Try to get a good feeling for the ivorine teeth BEFORE your interview. They can be quite tricky and do not simulate human teeth as their manufacturers would like to think.
Anyways, just try to get use to them.

There you go 🙂

I had used ivorine typodonts in my school. U r right..they are "soft"..cut like butter:laugh: ..u'll get used to it as u practise..🙂
