Hello all,
Due to a family situation, I have been unable to complete the work and exams for my physics class for the past month or so. The professor is aware so has offered me the option to take an “I” and complete the course at a later time.
At the moment I am around 50% sure I can get a B- in the course which would allow me to get this class over with with an acceptable grade, but if I try for the “I”, I lose the option to take a W in the event that I end up doing poorly.
This is a mid level physics course that I was planning to fulfill one semester of physics prereq so it has certainly not been easy. However, the professor seems to be pretty willing to give me the time I need to catch up
Should I try for the “I” or take the W?
