I'm doing the old refresh-until-someone drops since I heard that teachers don't give waitlists or override numbers. There's 250 kids in the class, and I know someone is BOUND to drop it... I know there is a site called coursesniper that sends you an email when a class is open but that coss $$ and doesn't list my school.... does anyone know another site that does the same? i remember i used it last summer but forgot the name.. course something..

just keep checking at various times of the day and also e-mail the professors. Also figure out when the drop date is for students who forget to pay their tuition and try again on that day

Definitely just keep checking, someone is bound to drop out of the class. That's how I became registered for organic chemistry lecture AND lab. Though, if you do find that site let me know! Sounds interesting.

Write a program that monitors it for you and sends you a text message.

You can set it to automatically refresh any page in any interval. You can constantly refresh one tab while browsing the net on another tab at the same time, unaffected.

I did this very same thing for the last week or so to get into my Chem class.
