I just got my DIT workbook and 1% of me is semi-excited to get started---or I guess just get this over with.

How long are you guys waiting between finishing DIT and the exam? I heard less than 10 days but that taus method looks pretty good too. Decisions! Decisions!

I'm waiting 7 days after finishing DIT. Hopefully that will give me enough time to go back through FA (assuming I write notes from DIT in there) to review everything. I won't start for a few weeks since my finals don't end until May 12th, so let me know how it goes!

Hey guys, I'm also doing DIT (I think). Like you Lizzy the Taus is looking promising, so I keep changing my mind. However, I am signed up and am currently planning on taking it. I left 10 days I think. 4 days to hit weak areas, and 5 days to do their 1/5 of FA a day plan.

Keep us posted as I won't be starting for a few more weeks either!

Hey guys,

Thanks for your responses 🙂

I received the review book today but am not starting the course until after finals which are mid-may. So unfortunately I won't be able to help you there.
Hopefully Jenkins somehow knows all of the new questions they're putting on this test starting May 17-----ah, a girl can dream. 🙂

Depending on how much you know going into DIT and how many questions you've gotten through, I would recommend leaving a solid 2 weeks at least. I finished DIT a week ago, and I'm only just now finishing my second pass over FA.

Hey I strongly recommend what he recommends in the DIT videos, its that do not take your exam more than 2 weeks after the program. It would be great if you did DIT and then saved about 5-7 days to do FA and thats it take the exam!!!

Hey Scared! ( me too!)

Thanks for the advice. I'm wondering if you know this first hand or if you just have gathered that from other people?

Hey sorry for the late response. It's been a long day. I meant after DIT and between the exam.. DIT is not some magical pill you can just swallow and take the usmle. He reads FA at lightning speed. If you know the book pretty solid going in, then yea its gonna be a good detailed pass through FA. If your one of those people whose like "wait whats the cause of secondary hyperparathyroidism again??" then you need to leave some time to cover FA and do questions. I think it depends where your at in your studying and what your target score is.
