why not? they just provided the numbers . The standards are the same.
But yeah, you can ignore the first paragraph in the PDF I suppose.

yeah I know standards would be the same, am just asking about tooth numbers. So now there's no need to think about acadental,right?
 
Yeah, i think those were just examples.

FPD Abutments: #2 (full gold crown) and #4 (porcelain veneer crown)

Really? Veneer?!!! Can it be used for FPD?!!! Just to clarify, by veneer they mean the thin half crown which covers the front of the tooth, right?!!

i think they mean full coverage porcelain crown
 
That is Full Ceramic Crown. Veneers are just for Ant. teeth
 
That's why I asked about it. I got an email today regarding the bench exam and that's exactly what it said: Veneer !!
I think they made a mistake and it should be all ceramic or pfm.
 
any idea is the exam hand held or bench mount??

Guyz plz i need your help,i want to apply to indiana school i know its late but i'll try my luck,can we send sealed reports of NBDE scores or does it have to be from ADA?
 
I applied on 3rd Oct and today I got interview invite for three dates 23 , 30 and 6th Nov, which ever I prefer. I submitted original score reports with application packet and they are fine with it. Make sure ur transcript and degree are notarized from university.

Guys. I'm preparing for bench test. For the abutment preparation, do we have to prepare both teeth with parallel insertion or just two separate crowns

both should have a single path of insertion as they are a part of 3 unit bridge

Thanks guys. I also have another question. I might be accepted at another program. do u know when Indiana school invited accepted students for 4 week assessment class last year?

May be in Jan or Feb,but not sure. They give provisional acceptance in December.

I got the email with the interview invites with date options for 23rd, 30th and 6th Nov ...today I got email saying that they have temporarily suspending interview date/ time assignments....Does anyone received anything similar? please reply....

in the bench test.. they said to prepare FPD .. one of it says to prepare veneers on premolars... :-( is it full porcelain crowns? Never heard of veneers on posteriors..

Porcelain veneer crown is a synonym of PFM.
It means (porcelain veneered over metal in baccal surface only).

Yes. That's true even though they deny that. No one hasn't been not called.

no. almost 250 people applied for this cycle. they invited around 100 and then will call 24 people for the class of 2016
