I wonder how can you trust those fake people in this forum or facebook. I do not believe them. Indiana school does not request any bench test fee compare to the other schools and that's why they try to filter applicants as much as they can. The program director told us that they mandated part 2 because they have limited space and fund available for international applicants. Inviting more applicants is a positive aspect for every school so why they have to conceal such an important thing. if you get Iv call, you have a very good chance to get into this program.

May be you are fake. Please do find me people who had completed applications and were not called.
 
guys ..do we use water during the bench test like for tooth preparation and ..also with air water syringe...

Yess, you can use water . They also provide suction . Personally I didn't use water during preparation because I did not wear scrubs. they will provide every thing you can imagine . Just one more thing. They only provide 2 capsules of amalgam and a complete set of burs. They won't give you extra ones if you fail your amalgam filling or break your burs.
 
is amalgam premixed ..or it is alloy capsule ....what buts they provide ..can u specify

2 Capsules.
They'll give you a complete set of equipment and burs, no worries.
And I don't think we were allowed to use water!! I've never seen using water in any bench exam.

Do they give lockers to keep our personal belongings? Do we get enough time to change to scrubs before bench test as we are in formals for the morning sessions?

Actually, it wasn't lockers, but we've kept our stuff in a room.
And there's enough time after interviews and lunch break to change to scrubs.
 
what burs do they provide in Indiana and what about retainer .... tofflemire retainer or something else

they did provide a complete set of burs( it was more than enough for their bench test) . Yes they have tofflemire retainer with matrix band and wedge.
 
just one last doubt ...do they provide any calibrated probes ..like periodontal probes etc for assessment ...or we need to asses our preps with the help of burs and other methods

They provide all wat u need included periodontal probe.
 
do we have to make pfm on premolar in bench test ..or metal crown with porcelain veneer on buccal side only

It's porcelain veneered over baccal side only. The the facial margin should be a wide chamfer =1.5 mm wide.
The lingual chamfer margin should be a metal margin =0.5 mm wide.
The transition from buccal wide chamfer margin to lingual metal margin should begin to occur at the interproximal buccal line angles.

Hi, I have an Interview and bench test this week. Can anyone tell me about amalgam capsules.Do they give you just capsules and you have to use amalgamator by your self or is there some one to help you with that.I have never used n amalgamtor and have no idea how to use one.Also for filling, both of the capsules are used or just one? I would really appreciate your answer. Thanks a lot.

There is an amalgamator, u could use by urself or ask the supervisor to help u. They are so friendly, and most of the day u get the help from currently enrolled DDS students.
Usually one capsule is enough.
